CHEM PRO offers a variety of treatment products for potable applications, or for applications requiring low toxicity such as retort cooling waters and cannery wash waters.

Potable or drinking quality water systems have standards that must be met. These standards are established by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, American Water Works Association (AWWA) and State Health Agencies. The Food and Drug Administration regulates the types and quality of additives that may be fed to potable waters.

CHEM PRO offers a variety of approved treatments including polyphosphate, polyphosphate/zinc and silicate based, to meet most potable treatment needs.

CHEM PRO also has products available for food and beverage industries. Although these products are not applicable to potable waters they are non-toxic or have low toxicity and are excellent choices for systems such as retort cooling.
