THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE:

Chem Pro has successfully treated many types of energy storage systems. Both Water Thermal Storage systems and Ice Thermal Storage systems such as ice builders, ice harvesters, and eutectic salt systems are increasingly popular. These systems utilize cheaper "off hour" energy to produce and store cooling capacity.

These systems often require special corrosion inhibitor products for successful treatment. In many instances these are closed systems, but closed system inhibitors may not be appropriate due to freeze/thaw characteristics. In other instances these systems are semi-closed with varying degrees of aeration that may diminish or enhance the performance of particular corrosion inhibition mechanisms.
